About Theresa!
Lyric Soprano, Theresa serves as the Chief Executive Director of CFL Vocal Arts. She also founded the organization in September 2012. Theresa holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree with a minor in Spanish from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance degree from the University of Miami. Currently, Theresa teaches voice at Valencia College, Dr. Phillips High School, West Orange High School and the new Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center, while also maintaining a thriving private studio through her company Theresa Leigh Soprano Studios. She is an active member of National Association of Teachers of Singing and performs regularly throughout the Winter Park, Orlando and Clermont areas, having appeared with Florida Opera Theatre, Moonlight Players, University Club of Winter Park and in the Casa Feliz Music Series. She is also a founding member of Belles & Bows holiday quartet.CFL Vocal Arts has become so much more than Theresa ever dreamed it would be and she is thrilled with the growth and contributions this organization has made to the local arts community. Theresa is most passionate about her work directing the Summer Institute and she can be seen performing in CFL Vocal Arts’ past and present productions. Theresa is so thankful to all of her friends and family for their support but especially her husband, Brent, sister, Danielle and fur baby, Missy.
