Doubt Reviews!

SEVERAL OF OUR DOUBT REVIEWS ARE IN:

ORLANDO SENTINEL, ANALOG ARTIST DIGITAL WORLD, ORLANDO WEEKLY, Archikulture Digest

“The play haunted me on the entire drive home.”
-Thomas Thorspecken, Analog Artist Digital World

“…A Powerful Cast…
Carl Gauze- Archikulture Digest

“As directed by Beth Marshall, it’s a taut production of the Pulitzer- and Tony-winning show with high-level acting and production values.”- Matt Palm, Orlando Sentinel

“Marshall’s production emphasizes the confinement of their lives — through Tom Mangieri’s handsomely compact set and Amy Hadley’s intimate lighting.”-Matt Palm, Orlando Sentinel

“Sister Aloysius’s insistence on the priest’s guilt makes her look less like a concerned nun and more like a close-minded woman. Ginger Lee McDermott plays her with gloriously straightforward conviction.
Chelsey Panisch, as a younger nun, is a lovely yin to McDermott’s yang, innocent without seeming stupid. Shonda Thurman has just one scene to make a strong impression — and she does.”-Matt Palm, Orlando Sentinel

“Wanzie also delivers a stirring homily, so realistic that when he crosses himself, Catholics might reflexively find themselves joining in.”
-Matt Palm, Orlando Sentinel

“Michael Wanzie – practically an Orlando theatrical institution by himself – never fails to engage us as Father Flynn, in his Garden Theatre debut.”
-Cameron Meier- Orlando Weekly

” McDermott is in complete command of subject and space, while Panisch comes closest to matching her cinematic counterpart (Amy Adams) by capturing not just the requisite sweetness and innocence, but also the understated passion.”-
Cameron Meier- Orlando Weekly

“Scenic designer Tom Mangieri nevertheless manages to bring to life three distinct locations. Making the space seem larger and more majestic is lighting designer Amy Hadley, who utilizes visually pleasing rear-backdrop projections.”- Cameron Meier- Orlando Weekly
